Regional Recruitment Officer

This position is responsible for the recruitment of international students to Curtin University from an agreed country/region and works in collaboration with Faculties and branch campuses to achieve the overall recruitment targets. This position acts as a senior representative of Curtin University including branch campuses in the recruitment territory and is expected to manage end to end student recruitment activities including the servicing of agents, university articulation programs, partner universities and government organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing and promotional activities to improve the profile of Curtin University and achieve recruitment targets.
- Propose marketing and communication activities in line with recruitment calendar that foster sustainable growth in student recruitment through lead generation and offer conversion.
- Have strong organizational ability, expression ability, can go in-depth course and program introduction, answer various questions of students and colleges, and solve the problems.
- Can excellently working with university cooperation programs, maintain the operation of current articulation programs.
- Regularly track the needs of articulation programs efficiently and make reasonable student recruitment plans for each articulation programs.
- Be able to arrange and accompany Curtin staff for every visit to articulation programs in China.
- Report on international student conversion rates within territory and provide analysis as required for strategic planning
- Engage with various recruitment channels in country (eg: agents, career counsellors, industry bodies, Navitas source country offices).
- Manage agency network at a counsellor level. This includes conducting student interviews, post application follow up and bi-monthly counsellor training on Curtin’s product offerings, University admission rules, procedures and standards including options for alternative pathways and other relevant policies.
- Conduct review of agent performance in country and provide recommendations for further engagement.
Key Requirements:
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proof of an outstanding sales performance track record
- High levels of digital cognitive literacy and critical thinking
- Prove the high level of interpersonal relationship, communication, cooperation and negotiation skills
- Business level of written English and spoken English
- Proven excellent team-work skills and ability to innovative thinking, and the ability to solve problems
- Familiar with the policies, courses and student recruitment procedures of local articulation programs, and help the stable recruitment of university articulation programs.
- Ability to reach goals within a schedule of changing priorities
- Ability to take responsibility for decisions and outcomes
- Ability a flexible work attitude, including a willingness to work or travel on weekends and evenings, to support regional and international recruitment activities
- Successfully played a sales role in the higher education sector.
- Ability to control, monitor and assess the success of activities and state reporting
- Evidence the ability to successfully communicate and cooperate with university articulation programs, education agents, and parents and students
- Experience of working effectively in a matrix structure to ensure that all aspects of competitive needs are met
- Familiarity with student tracking system and CRM systems
